The big news for this week is that I'm picking up my visa on Monday, which took half the time than it usually does!! So that's a little miracle because Spain is awesome and I'll get to head out in 3 weeks!
This week was awesome for Elder Christie and I! Lots of Spanish, lots
of classes, lots of studying. Our Spanish has been improving which is
awesome, and we're learning tons.
So funny
story from this week: An elder in my district was sick and he got to
leave the MTC to go to the pharmacy, and I have never seen this guy so
happy in my entire life (pictured below). He was feeling stressed just
cause we've been couped up for the last 3 weeks, and when he got to
leave for 30 min he was the happiest guy in the world hahaha
One
of my teachers posed a really interesting question that I've been
thinking a lot about this week. It was "What would you give to have a
closer relationship with Jesus Christ?" There is always something we can
do to be a little more like Christ, whether it be kindness, humility,
mercy, forgiveness, or so many other virtues. I promise that as you make
the effort to be more like Christ, you will develop a closer
relationship with Him.
