Friends and Family,

Another good week in Granada! We had transfers this week, but none of the Elders got moved so nothing really changed. The cool part was that one of my really good friends Elder Bluth passed through Granada on his way to the other side of the mission, which is now in a different mission. So it will be sad to not see him for the rest of my mission, but we got a few minutes to talk which was pretty lucky.

My birthday was on Tuesday, so we ate with a Venezuelan family that has a tradition where you smash an egg on the birthday person's head and then throw flower at them... pretty interesting and definitely won't be wearing those clothes again!

We were also able to share the plan of salvation with an investigator named A____ who wants to baptized in August. He recently lost a cousin to cancer, so we shared a lot with him about what happens after we die. He loved the scripture that we shared from Alma 40:11-12:

"Now, concerning the state of the soul between death and the resurrection—Behold, it has been made known unto me by an angel, that the spirits of all men, as soon as they are departed from this mortal body, yea, the spirits of all men, whether they be good or evil, are taken home to that God who gave them life. And then shall it come to pass, that the spirits of those who are righteous are received into a state of happiness, which is called paradise, a state of rest, a state of peace, where they shall rest from all their troubles and from all care, and sorrow."

I know that there is a life after death. God has prepared a mansion for every one of his children. Our purpose on earth is to prepare for that life. In other news, my mission address has changed because I'm now a part of the Madrid mission:

Elder Carver Coleman
Avenida de Tenerife 11,
28703 San Sebastián de los Reyes

I love you all! Elder Coleman
